What is Odata?

▶ In computing, Open Data Protocol (OData) is an open protocol which allows the
creation and consumption of queryable and interoperable RESTful APIs in a
simple and standard.

Some of the important features are −


▶ RESTful APIs.
▶ Stateless, client-server, cacheable communication protocol. In virtually all cases,
the HTTP protocol is used.
▶ Odata Supports CRUDQ operations
