The document discusses practicality and efficiency considerations for teacher assessment methods. It recommends that teachers be familiar with each assessment method's strengths and weaknesses. An ideal assessment would be short yet valid and reliable, allowing students enough time to respond thoughtfully without rushing. It should also be easy to administer, score, and interpret, with clear instructions to avoid issues during testing. When possible, the most cost-effective assessment should be selected.
