GETTING TO KNOW EACH OTHER…

• Write a simple question for the person whose name you have
in a piece of paper.
• Get together and discuss the question.
MATERIALS TO USE
• Empower Student’s Book B1+ COMBO B (2 UNITS – 3 UNITS)

• 50 sheets of squared paper

• Pencil, eraser, pens, liquid paper, highlighter, etc.
ATTENDANCE POLICIES
 Classes always start on time: 13:30/15:30.
 Atendance will be checked 10 minutes later.
 Students have 64 class hours, you can’t miss more than the 40% to
pass the course.
 There are no justified absences. (Reglamento 1206, Art 23).

 Lateness: If a student arrives more than 10 minutes late, he/she will
be marked “absent!.
CLASS POLICIES
 The use of the mobile phone is strictly for academic activities.
 Students cannot eat or drink anything (except water) in class.
 Students must bring all their materials.
 If they do not have the right material, the teacher can ask them to leave the
class.
 English should be used in class.
 Students are expected to be respectful at all times of their teacher and
classmates.
 Academic honesty is expected.
 Plagiarism will be penalized. (Reglamento 2421, Art 3).

CLASS POLICIES
 Practice Hours will be any hour in the classroom, or in the lab.
 Cambridge Platform are part of the assignments.
Register your username with your first last name, second last name, first name and middle name.
Example: rivadeneira.mora.jimena.Elizabeth
• The SIDWEB platform will be used as a way to communicate with
your teacher.
Use it for sssignments, evaluations, forums, announcements or any
other academic activity.
