Bluetooth Control Robot

This document describes a Bluetooth controlled car that can be operated using an Android mobile application. The key components are an Arduino Uno microcontroller, HC-05 Bluetooth module, motor shield, and gear motors. The Android app uses Bluetooth to send control signals to the Arduino, which interprets the signals and controls the motors accordingly. This allows remote control of the car from a smartphone.

OVERVIEW
- Introduction.
- Hardware requirements.
- Software use.
- Circuit diagram.
- Applications.
INTRODUCTION

- The use of robots in the present day has moves from

industries to the normal day to life.
- The use of Bluetooth commands to control a robot is
much easier for domestic as well as industrial users.
- This project purposes the use of an android mobile to
control a robot via Bluetooth commands.
HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS

- Arduino Uno.
- Bluetooth Module HC-05.
- Motor Shield.
-TT Gear Motor.
-Battery (9v) .
-Battery Holder .
-Male and Female Jumper wire .
Arduino Uno:
- The Arduino Uno is an open source microcontroller board
based on the microchip ATmega328P microcontroller.
- 14 digital input/output pins(of which 6 can be used as
PWM outputs).
- 6 analog inputs.
- 16MHz quartz crystal.
- A power jack.
- Connect it to a computer with a USB cable or power it
with a AC-to-DC adapter or battery to get started
Bluetooth Module(HC-05):
- It is used for the communication between mobile phone
and microcontroller.
- Low power 1.8v operation,1.8 to3.6V I/O.
- using Bluetooth profile and android platform architecture
different type of Bluetooth applications can be developed.
- it’s range is upto 100m.
Motor shield:
- The motor shield is a driver module for motors that
allows you to use arduino to control the working speed
and the direction of the motor.
- It is based on full bridge drive chip l298,it is able to drive
two dc motors.
- It can be powered by Arduino directly.
SOFTWARE USED

-Arduino IDE.
-Bluetooth RC controller App.
Android:

- It is an open source operating system which means that

any manufacturer can use it in their phones free of charge.
- It was built to be truly open.
- It utilizes a custom JAVA virtual machine.
Android Application on mobile phones:
- An android app is meant for phones with an android
based operating systems.
- They can be downloaded from the android app market
which is pre-loaded on every android phone.
-Bluetooth controlled app and Bluetooth Spp app are some
examples.
Android Application Operated Bluetooth:

- The Android platform includes support for the Bluetooth

network stack which allows a device to wirelessly exchange
data with other Bluetooth device.
- The application frame work provides access to the
Bluetooth functionally through the android Bluetooth APIs.
Android Application:
