This document presents a study to assess the knowledge and practices related to maintenance of the cold chain among health workers in selected health centers in Lucknow, India. The study uses a descriptive design with a sample of 60 health workers who will be surveyed using structured questionnaires and observational checklists. The objectives are to assess knowledge and identify practices regarding cold chain maintenance and examine the association between knowledge and practices. Results will be analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The study aims to evaluate knowledge of cold chain maintenance and help improve primary preventative healthcare services like immunization programs.

INTRODUCTION
 “Health for All” can be achieved by implementing
primary preventive measures like the immunization which
is carried out by the health workers, who form the huge
work force in the country. So, it becomes important to
understand the knowledge level and practices of this huge
workforce regarding the important preventive measure”.
PROBLEM STATEMENT

AIMS :-

To assess the knowledge of health worker regarding cold chain


maintenance.

OBJECTIVE:-

 To assess the knowledge of health workers related to maintenance of


cold chain.

 To identify the practice of health workers related to maintenance


regarding cold chain.

 To find out the association between knowledge and practices of


health workers regarding maintenance of cold chain.
