Summary of Whiplash
The movie Whiplash is about a drummer named
Andrew Neiman who is attending one of the best
music conservatories in the country. His goal is to
become one of the greats. Once he is discovered by
Terence Fletcher he joins the conversitories top jazz
band. Andrew quickly becomes obsessed with
perfecting his skill after being brutally pushed by
Fletcher. By the end of the movie he has almost
completely destroyed all his relationships and his
sanity.
