Microcontroler Based Pneumatic Brick Making Machine Model
This document describes a microcontroller-based pneumatic brick making machine. The machine uses a screw conveyor to feed clay into a die, which is then shaped by a pneumatic cylinder controlled by a microcontroller. The die moves along a conveyor belt past a gas burner to heat the shaped clay brick. The microcontroller sequentially operates the conveyors, cylinder, and burner according to timed intervals. The pneumatic cylinder is powered by an air compressor. The automated machine reduces human labor and production time compared to traditional brick making methods.

MICROCONTROLER BASED PNEUMATIC
BRICK MAKING MACHINE MODEL
Project By, A.Ajith Kumar S.Mohamed Akram S.Mohamed Faizal S.Mukesh Kumar INTRODUCTION Nowadays, Making of Bricks are done by using manpower and it causes more consumption of time. To reduce that, We have introduce Microcontroller based Pneumatic process to enhance the manufacturing and its associated processes to overcome the drawbacks of traditional methods. In our model we implement the microcontroller for sophisticated automation for the processes lead to reduce human work and time consumption. In our model pneumatic plays a main role to shape the sand and water mixture and microcontroller is used to sequential operation of respective motors to make the process efficient one. LAYOUT PARTS INCLUDED SERIAL NAME OF THE PART REQUIRED QUANTITY NUMBER
1. MOTOR 2
2. PNEUMATIC CYLINDER 1
3. SOLENOID VALVE 1
4. FUNNEL 1
5. CONVEYOR 1
6. DIE 1
7. GAS BURNER 1
8. SCREW CONVEYOR 1
9. WORM GEAR ARRANGEMENT 1
CONSTRUCTION This arrangement includes a screw conveyor attached with funnel from which the clay is passed. Then the pneumatic cylinder with solenoid valve arrangement is included for the process of giving shape. The chain conveyor with dies are used for transform the clay for shaping and heating process respectively. The gas burner is fitted in the conveyor for heating the shaped clay. The process of operating of screw and chain conveyor by motor and the pneumatic cylinder with solenoid valve arrangement is controlled by microcontroller between the required time intervals. The air is supplied to the pneumatic cylinder solenoid valve from a compressor. WORKING PRINCIPLE Initially the clay is drawn to the screw conveyor from a funnel. Then the clay is put into die then moved to the shaping process which is done by pneumatic cylinder solenoid valve by pressing operation. The die along with the chain conveyor then moved to the gas burner for the heating process. The process of heating is done in required temperature and time. The working of chain conveyor, screw conveyor and pneumatic cylinder solenoid valve arrangement are operated and controlled by micro controller according to the required time intervals. For the operation of pneumatic cylinder solenoid valve the air is supplied from a compressor. OPERATION OF MICROCONTROLLER ADVANTAGES 1. It is easy to control.
2. Quick response since it is pneumatic.
3. Reduces human effort.
4. Time consumption is less.
5. Operation is fully automatic.
DISADVANTAGES 1. It require separate compressor to operate the cylinder.
2. Does not suitable for small scale industry
where low investment is applicable. CONCLUSION
To provide automation to increase the rate of
Production Reducing time consumption to overcome the traditional method of operation Since the usage of Micro controller, this process is fully automatic leads to reduce the requirements of Human Attention THANK YOU
