Job Crafting

Job crafting allows employees to customize their jobs by changing tasks and interactions. Fatima, who found her monitoring role repetitive, crafted her job by starting interactions with team members to provide guidance on new strategies. While job crafting can improve satisfaction, not all jobs are suitable as some require specific skills or experience and workload increases could impact performance. Potential drawbacks like heavier workload or lack of preparation need to be minimized through preparation, teamwork, and consultation.

Because employees are given more activities and responsibilities in job
