RESTRICTIONS
• Shall not be subject to encumbrance or alienation for a term
of five (5) years from and after the date of issuance of the
patent
• Shall be subject to repurchase by the applicant, his widow or
legal heirs within a period of (5) five years from the date of
the conveyance.
• No corporation, association or partnership may acquire or
have any right, title, interest or property right to any land
granted under free patent.

SUBJECT : PUBLIC LAND TITLING
Concerned local authorities are encouraged to support the Intent of the said
Order and are thus enjoined to:

1. Cause the integration of land titling in local government programs;

2. Subject to applicable rules, regulations, practicability and financial


resources, create a Land Information Office and organize a Cadastral
Council; and

3. Nominate a local government official or employee, holding a permanent


position, to be deputized as Deputy Public Land Inspector, upon proper
notification by the Regional Executive Director of the DENR.
