Human Development and Personal Development

Human development encompasses three domains: physical, cognitive, and psychosocial. It is influenced by heredity, environment, and maturation. Personal development refers to a process of self-reflection to understand oneself, accept one's strengths and weaknesses, and maximize one's potential. It draws from psychology, particularly the work of Maslow and Rogers. Maslow's hierarchy of needs outlines the stages of human development from physiological to self-actualization.
