Simple Perfect Tense

The present perfect tense is used to describe actions that began in the past and continue in the present or actions that are completed in an unspecified time before now. It is formed using have/has + past participle. The subject comes before have/has. For positive sentences, the subject uses have and third person singular subjects use has. For negative sentences, do not/does not is placed between the subject and have/has. Time expressions like already, ever, yet, for, and since are often used with the present perfect tense.
