Introduction
There’s still a tremendous amount of
homophobia in our culture. It’s stupid, it’s
heartless and it’s immoral, but there it is.
(Rupert Everett)

LGBT discrimination comes into play. It is a


massive concern when it comes to pursuing
of equality. LGBT equality is still very much
attainable.
Introduction

There is an effect of discrimination on self-


worth. Because of the things people say
and do, LGBT people are for more likely to
experience depression and anxiety.
Research Question(s)
1. What are the common forms of
bullying experienced by homo-
sexual gay students of LNHS?

2. What are the common reasons


behind being a homo-sexual gay
member?

3. What are the possible of being a


homo-sexual gay in the society?
Review of Related Literature
(RRL)
The authors evaluated distress among
the students, and examined whether
the association between being lesbian,
gay, bisexual, and/or
transgender(LGBT) and emotional
distress was mediate by perceptions
of having been treated badly.

Suicide is the leading cause of death
among gay and lesbian youth. All
reported teen suicide each year are
committed by gay and lesbian youth.

Approximately 28% of the gay and
lesbian youths drop out of high school
because of discomfort due to verbal and
physical abuse in the school environment.

Gay and lesbian youths’ discomfort
stems from fear of name calling and
physical harm. (Eversole, n.d, as cited
in “Today’s Gay Youth,” n.d., n.p.)
Many people are guilty of
discrimination against LGBT youths,
whether consciously or unconsciously,
LGBT youths are faced with daily
discrimination from society, peers,
and even school teachers and
administrations. (Cole 2007)
According to Mckay B. Med (2011).
Lesbian, gay, bisexual and
transgender(LGBT) person experienced
discrimination, including
disproportionate rates of psychiatric
disorders, substance abuse and
suicide.
Lesbian, gay, bisexual(LGBT) people
continue to experience various forms
of oppression and depression
throughout the world, despite the
social, legal and political advances.

Methodology
Research Locale
This study was conducted at Linao National High School in
Ormoc city among Junior High and Senior High Student.
The total number of respondent for our Research is 30.

Research Sample
The Researcher’s choose the simple Random
sampling method. Using simple random method, The
Researcher’s looked for junior and senior high LGBT
students that are involved or experience discriminate and
we asked for their help to possible respondent for our
Research.
Research Procedure

The researchers gathered the


participants through simple random
sampling and interview the
respondents by visiting them
individually in their respective room.

QUESTIONS
1.100% of the respondents said that they are
proud of there gender.

2. 100% of the respondents said that they are


comfortable of there gender.

3. 97% of the respondents said that there


parents proud of there gender while 3% said
that there parents are not proud of them.

4. 87% of the respondents said that they


experienced discrimination while 23% said no
5. 77% of the respondents said that they
have been bullied by people while 23% of
the respondents said they did not
experience bully.

6. 57% of the respondents said that they feel


free on the society while 43% of the
respondents that they are not.

7. 80% of the respondents told their parents


that they are a member of LGBT while 20%
of the respondents don’t.
9. 93% of the respondents said that
they are aware of an LGBT group in
our school while 7% of the
respondents said that they are not
aware.

10. 57% of the respondents are afraid


to experience of being harassed and
bullied while 43% of respondents are
not.
Conclusion
We conclude that LGBT member
is not easy because they have to
face all that struggles and
challenges in life LGBT has also
have the feelings. So that we
can’t deny the fact that other
people bully that LGBT so that
they will be the master of the
group.
Recommendation
We researcher recommend for
the incoming researchers that
they can use convenience
sampling method because the
lease LGBT that live in the society
or in a school the more possibility
that your research will be failed.
Therefore, you can use their
experience in the past because
you need a lot of information to
know so that your research will
