General information
• Vasudhara Dairy full name is VALSAD DISTRICT
COOPERATIVE MILK PRODUCERS’ UNION LIMITED.
• Vasudhara Dairy is doing a co-operative operation with a motive
of providing products and services to the people at low cost.
• This dairy has been established due to co-operation of the milk
producers and was established and registered in year 1973.
• It produces and markets milk, ghee  (clarified butter) and other
dairy products for the local market under the Amul  brand name.
• Its current capacity is 8.5 lakh liters per day.
• It has branches (ice cream manufacturing plants) in  Nagpur
 and Boisar
Vision, Mission and Objective:
VISION 
The vision of the company is to improve the life standards. Vasudhara Dairy has
always looked and though beyond the conventional boundaries for doing business.
To serve people of the society with good quality of product with as much as low
price.
To provide our customers with the cleanest and healthiest milk, for which the focus
on nutrition starts from the animals themselves, thus leading to more nutritional
milk and milk products 

 MISSION
To work under the principles of co-operation which covers every milk producer in
the cooperative framework of the Union, using professional experts for fulfilling high
quality need of urban consumers.

SOURCES OF DATA: To cater the need of the research primary as well as
secondary source of data (web sites, journals etc) are used.

DATA COLLECTION TOOL: Questionnaire, Interview, Observation

SAMPLE SIZE: Sample size of 100 respondents taken from various


departments.
 
SAMPLING METHOD: From collecting the response from the employee’s
convenience sampling method which is a classification of Non
probability sampling method is used.

It was found that majority of employees are male in the
organization and experienced employees.
Majority of employees in the organization earning the
income of above 25,000.
Supervisor regularly recognizes their efforts when the
employee performs well.
Employer encourages their employee to participate.
The study indicates that they provide right training when
new systems/tools are introduce in the organizations.
Employees at Valsad District Cooperative Milk Producers
union Limited (Vasudhara Dairy) are feel that their work
does not cause unwanted tensions in their personal life.
Manager/peers communicate information with clarity in the
organization.
Employee feels comfortable at workplace.
Policies, Goals and strategies are clearly communicated with the
employees.
Grievance process at the organization is fair and equitable.

proper training according to their job.
Employee feels that manager is interested in their progress and they are
satisfied with the overall organisations policies on rewards and
recognition.
The study indicates that employee receives constructive feedback from

Conclusion:
 Employees who is highly engaged and involved are perform better and
their performance is high.
 All the factors of Employee engagement are affect the employee
performance in the positive way and organisation clearly communicate
the goals, strategies, policies to the employees.
 There is positive relationship between employee engagement and
organizational performance and its outcomes.
