1st day met with vijay Sir and discuss regaarding sangh kendra.
Sanjh Kendra's were established by the Punjab government
and were facilitated by Punjab police to provide various
services to public.
Services provided by Sanjh Kendras:

● Character verification
● Vehicle stolen
● Untraced vehicle

● Duty Register:- for the attendence purpose, its maintained by MNC and timing for roll call 8:00

Most difficult task of police is to listen and interact with
the general public. It is a task to cool down general public
which came to police their with their complaints.
CCTNS – crime and criminal tracking network system
CCTNS was launched to create a national database of
crime and criminals as a resource for all stakeholders
including the policy makers.

Lecture on traffic rules was given by the traffic officer. Various
traffic signals were learned and offences related to traffic
were discussed.
Two types of offences while driving:
Visible offences, which can be easily traceable. Like: seat belt,
without helmet etc.
Non-visible offences, like: without RC, without license.

Police station women is also a special cell of police. Cases related to


crime against women were registered in this police station women.
Special mediation cells were established in police station to settle dispute
without litigation. These were established to reduce the Burdon on
judiciary.
