ORINENTATION PROGRAM
VISION STATEMENT
" To be the best University College by conducting
world-class research, continuous curriculum
development and creative activities that develop
Knowledge, Economic growth and Better living
standard for the peoples of Brunei Darussalam
by 2035"
MISSION STATEMENT
• Supervise research for the staffs and students.
• Maintain an overall knowledge of the College’s top
prospects to assist fundraisers in developing appropriate
cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies;
reference and represent that information at meetings and in
discussions, as needed.
• Ensure adherence to professional standards and ethics of
prospect research.
• Identify and promote professional growth opportunities for
staffs.
• Set departmental and individual employee goals and
provide routine evaluations of progress toward these goals. 
MISSION STATEMENT
• Provide direct prospect research services to a
small portfolio of senior fundraisers.
• Develop and oversee budgets and policies and
procedures for the Research Unit.
• Evaluate research tools and emerging technology
and coordinate vendor relations.
• Develop a team and monitor or supervise college
monthly magazine.
• Identify new areas of opportunity(new programs)
for the college to grow in the new field of study.
MISSION STATEMENT
• Set, monitor and guide the students to
developing entrepreneur club, through which
develop students as real-time entrepreneurs.
• Maintain an awareness of the goals and
accomplishments of the College and of issues
within the development profession.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Conducted Successfully
• A System as a Solution to the Administrative Issues Faced
by the College IGS – A research proposal by curriculum
development department of R & D
• Pilot Feasibility Study Report - Opening of A New Branch
For The College In Belait District– done by R&D Team and
report prepared by Regina Goh. – Survey was carried out in the
kolej IGS, data’s were evaluated and the final report was prepared
and submitted.
• “Framework Plan On Fashion Designs And Family And
Consumer Sciences As Possible Courses To Be Introduced
To IGS In The Not Too Distant Future” –a report prepared by
Susanah and submitted to HOA.
TASK’S ACCOMPLISHED
• Formation of Official Marketing Department for
College IGS.–a report prepared by Susanah and submitted
to HOA.
• A Survey on Operating Days at KIGS – a feasibility
report prepared and submitted to HOA and got approval for
further survey.
• A Feasibility Study on Operating Days in KIGS – II – An
extended survey conducted upon all internal stake holders
of KIGS, the report was prepared and submitted to HOA.
• Memorandum of Understanding (Corporate) – An
Agreement document drafted for having tie-ups with
corporate are prepared, submitted and approved by HOA.
TASK’S ACCOMPLISHED
• A feasibility Study on Introducing Interior Design
Courses to KIGS – The study was conducted and report
perpared and submitted to HOA.
• A feasibility Study on Introducing Mobile
Computing Courses to KIGS–the study was conducted
and report prepared and submitted to HOA.
• “A feasibility survey on Co-curriculum activities”.
Task accomplished and the report was submitted to our
CEO, conducted by Senthilkumar Muthusamy and team.
• “Alumni Survey Phase – I”, this survey was conducted
successfully and extended to Phase – II, the Phase – II is
still in progress and yet to start.
CURRENT TASK
• “Alumni Survey Phase – II”, in progress
and yet to start during Alumni night
organized by alumni department.
• “Incubation Business Program” – Waiting
for management approval and this program
can be start only after the formation of
alumni club, main objective of this program
is to provide a self employment opportunities
for the unemployed KIGS alumni graduates.
