As his family financial condition was good but he liked to do small business
from childhood like: Distributing Newspaper, sold Coca-Cola, Magazines
house to house.
*At the age of 7-8years, He read a book ‘One Thousand
ways to make $1000.
There is one way to Earn from pinball machine. He
wanted to earn more machines by one machine.
He bought one machine with his friend and put it into
Barber shop so that waiting people can play, By its profit
they bought other machine & fix in another barbers shop.
He earned high profit from there, After he sold his
business into $1200.
*He also distributed newspapers, Sold Coca-Cola,
Chewing Gums, Magazines house to house.
* By age of 14years he bought 14 acre land in Omaha.
He enrolled at the Wharton School of the University of
Pennsylvania in 1947 where he studied for two years.

He shifted to University of Nebraska from where he


graduated with a Bachelor of Science in business
administration.

After which he applied to Harvard Business School.


Later, then being rejected by Harvard, Warren
matriculated at Columbia Business School, where he
graduated in 1951 with a Master of Science in
Economics. While at Columbia, Warren studied under
legendary value investor Benjamin Graham.
*After that he applied in Prof. Benjamin Graham’s partnership firm but they
rejected him.
Buffett worked from 1951 to 1954 at Buffett-Falk & co. as Investment salesman
After three years they offered him job he served there as Security Analyst.
By there he improved his investing skills.
In 1956, When Benjamin Graham retired he closed his firm and Warren returned
to Omaha & Started Buffet’s partnership Ltd of Value investing where he served as
General partner.
He invested in undervalued stocks of Berkshire Hathaway in 1962 and Later He
bought Majority shares of it.
In 1969 he closed his Firm and became Chairman of Berkshire.
As Berkshire Hathaway was a textile manufacturer he had no interest in
that, Then after he made it holding company which invest in other
companies
Later on he earned huge profit and became Millionaire.
* Warren’s father had guided him in every step of his life
so as Warren always mention his Father’s contribution in his
success.
*In 2008-09, He became World’s Richest Man for few months.
*He was presented with the Presidential Medal of
Freedom by President Barack Obama in 2011.
*He is 88years old and still working because business
and investing is his passion.
*He Considered to be the most successful investor of the 20th
century, he is also the biggest philanthropists of our times and
had pledged to donate most of his fortunes to social causes.
*He donated 185 million shares of Berkshire Hathaway
at a market value of US$28.3 billion to the Bill and Melinda
Gates foundation in 2014.
*Presently, He is 3rd Wealthiest person in the world.
