Mux DeMux

A multiplexer (MUX) is a digital switch that has multiple inputs and a single output. The select lines determine which input is connected to the output. A demultiplexer (DEMUX) is a digital switch with a single input and multiple outputs, where the select lines determine which output the input is connected to. MUXs and DEMUXs are commonly used to route data from multiple sources to a single destination or from a single source to multiple destinations.
