PROJECT RATIONALE

We are aware of the line, "Cleanliness is next to Godliness". Clean restrooms is very
important in every facility. It is the place where all bacterias start their attacks on the human
body. Students use restrooms throughout the day and we can not avoid the unpleasant odor
that exhaust from the restrooms and unclean toilets that can affect productivity and can cause
various illnesses as well. Not all schools have a clean comfort rooms. So, we hereby to
implement a project that can help improve sanitation, to create such project needs a better and
acceptable reasons for it to work out comfort rooms with additional wash areas and to install
sanitary vending machines for the convenience of the students and help them to prevent from
possible diseases.

Description
Having a new upgrade comfort rooms with an additional
wash areas and sanitary vending machines can give a great
help to every student in the school. It will help to sustain
hygiene promotion, reduce the incidence of hygiene
related diseases and improve the performance of the
SCINHS (SHS area) in terms of sanitation.
Objectives
The purpose of this report is to to propose the renovation and improvement of the
comfort roooms in SHS H.E. Building Area. This renovation will provide the students the
comfort rooms where they can experience convenience . It motivates to promote health
and personal hygiene awareness among the students.

METHODOLOGY

The project will be done in a following process:

a) Purchasing the materials needed


b) Selection of technical organization responsible for the operation
c) Preparation of the design format
d) Setting up of the sinks based on the plan formed
e) Installing the sanitary vendo machines in an open area
f) Filling up the vendo machines of sanitary tissues and napkins.
g) Documentation of the project
SCOPE
Contractor is responsible to provide the list of trained person's along with address and
mobile number. He/she is responsible for repairing defect and replace any damaged
might encounter due to the operation of the project. The scope includes supply of
complete equipment, installation, testing and commissioning on basis. The installation
which includes satisfactory demonstration, required training, obtaining final acceptance
certificate from department and provides warranty for equipments that maintain for 3-5
years.

° Once we have contacted a technical organization, a meeting must


be conducted in our location to be able to determine qualifications.

°Scheduling the installation of vending machines and wash basins


after confirming the project location that qualifies their services.

the management of water resources, health, and hygiene practices among
the students.

Conclusion and Recommendation

The provision of washing facilities in schools and hygiene education will


promote behavioral change among students. Most schools did not meet the
sanitary standards. To improve, as the initiators, we must focus on the efforts
on building more hygiene appliance system that will provide for monitoring
hygiene. This approach to improve sanitation conditions in school is the most
effective way of preventing disease transmission. Washing hands thoroughly is
an optional method of protecting oneself and availability of vendo machines is
readily helpful for the convenience of the students particularly for girls. An
improvement in hygiene practices is the ultimate goal promoting a safety
culture.
Next Work Planning

We recommend to install more advanced Sanitary vendo


machines in other restrooms of the SCINHS Senior High areas
which can access by the students. A development within wash
areas and vending machines range includes innovative
electronic technology and unique design to compliment other
restroom accessories
