one device. Opté scans, detects, and corrects hyperpigmentation with
precision application to reveal the natural beauty of skin. Opté is one
of the first brands to emerge from P&G Ventures, which partners with
startups, entrepreneurs, and innovator.

THE PRODUCT SOLVES (KEEP IT SHORT)

The Opté Precision Skincare System is a wand


that scans your skin or face with a tiny digital
camera at 200 images per second and uses blue
LED lights to enhance the contrast in your skin. It
detects “age and sunspots, redness and
discoloration, blemishes, scars, and spider veins”.
It then applies the precise amount of serum
needed to cover only those blemishes using “120
thermal inkjet nozzles inside the wand that
deposit 1,000 picoliter droplets so that your skin
looks flawless.
OPERATIONAL DEFINITION

This product is one that is truly


revolutionary for the beauty and
cosmetics industry as it can give what
others usually claim to deliver, a cover
makeup that gives the skin of its user a
natural and beautiful look. The Opte
Precision Skincare System can be used
on most skin types that are plagued by
blemishes, acne scars, and hyper-
pigmentation .
OVERALL DESCRIPTION

The wand has a body that is primarily made of plastic


with a chipset in the main body that runs the algorithm
for dispensing the right amount of serum and cover
makeup. The lens placed in the applicator tip
accompanied with a blue LED scans the face and takes
200 images per second with the assistance of the blue
LED lights to enhance the contrast of your skin. The
supercomputer then runs an algorithm to determine
precisely how much serum needs to be applied to cover
only those blemishes. The thermal inkjet nozzles inside
the wand then dispenses the serum to give it that
flawless finish.
