Crawford Market by Bhavesh, Aman, Heta, Mehek

Crawford Market in Mumbai was founded in 1871 under the name 'Mahatma Jyotiroa Phule Market'. It was later renamed Crawford Market after the city's Municipal Commissioner Arthur Crawford. A group of 24 students visited the market on November 15th to look at the variety and prices of vegetables and spices available. They found a wide selection of vegetables ranging from 50-300 rupees per kilogram. Common spices were also available at prices between 280-4000 rupees per kilogram depending on the type. The long-established Jal Agro shop was especially helpful during the students' market study.
