Central Visayas is the second
smallest region in the
Philippines. The Central
Visayas Region (Region 7)
lies at the center of the
Philippine archipelago
between the major islands of
Luzon and Mindanao.
The country’s oldest settlement, it is also
one of its most historic and retains much
of the flavour of its long Spanish heritage.
It is one of the country’s largest cities and
is a bustling port.
Price for foreigners is fixed, it is 1000 pesos per person
for 30 minutes snorkeling and being with the huge
creations. Price includes snorkeling equipment,
lifejacket and boat transfer to the sharks and back.

a tourist attraction and
cafe located in Cordova,
Cebu that has grown
popular in recent years.
Cebu claims to have the best-roasted pork in the
Philippines.

Cebu City’s most popular and grandest festival.

Bohol's beauty lies in its unpolluted waters and shorelines of
white sand beaches.  Lovers of scuba diving can explore the
depths of Bohol's waters which are rated among the best diving
havens in the world and famous not only for its richness in
marine life and corals but also for its being the home of  the
world's rarest shells such as the Gloria Maris and the Golden
Cowry. 
A popular activity at the beach is diving and
snorkeling. The dive boats docked near its
shores are always ready to take divers and
snorkelers for an underwater adventure.

provincial capitol building.

The Island of Siquijor is known to many as the mystical
island of the Philippines. The name of the island has
changed a few times though history though. The island’s
native name used to be ´Katagusan´, from tugas.
One of the larger rivers on the island is the Po-o,
which cuts through limestone hills to the
Convent town of Lazi.  3km into the hills behind
Lazi the beautiful Cambugahay Falls.
If you’re a lover of nature and outdoor-related
activities, you will love the Mt. Bandilaan
National Park. The forest is filled with
towering trees and anahaw – which is the
national leaf of the Philippines.

they are much bigger than the ones
popularly eaten in Lilo-an, Cebu. Some

The Solili Festival’s main event featured the
celebration of the Day of Siquijor. One of these
traditions valued by the citizens of Lazi to the present
is the Solili law, which will gather the relatives of the
groom to meet his future wife.
