Cycling

Cycling provides many health, environmental, and economic benefits. It is a form of transportation that allows people to get exercise while commuting. Regular cycling can improve cardiovascular health, reduce stress, aid weight loss and sleep quality. Using bicycles rather than cars also reduces air pollution and traffic congestion. Bicycles have lower ownership costs than vehicles since they have no fuel or tax requirements. However, cycling safety is important, especially the use of helmets and following traffic laws. Providing bicycle infrastructure can encourage more community members to choose cycling as a regular mode of transportation.
