Positive in a
Negative World
1. IMPROVE YOUR LIFE
Did I really do my duties as
God’s servant?
•“I CAN DO ALL THINGS
THROUGH CHRIST WHO
STRENGTHENS ME.”
Philippians 4:13
2. MAINTAIN FORWARD
MOMENTUM
 SETTING OUR MINDS
ON THE FUTURE, NOT
THE PAST.
Philippians 3:13-14
• “Brethren, I count not myself to have
apprehended: but this one thing I do,
forgetting things which are behind, and
reaching forth unto those things which are
before, I press toward the mark of God in
Christ Jesus.”
 DEVELOP AND STRIVE
DEEPER BONDS WITH
CHRISTIAN BROTHERS.
WE MUST CULTIVATE FRIENDSHIPS
AS WE CULTIVATE OUR
RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD.
•Proverbs 27:17
“Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens
the countenance of his friend.”
3. LOOK TO GOD
•AT CHALLENGING TIMES, GO TO
THE SOURCE OF CHRISTIAN’S
STRENGTH: GOD.
•OFTEN, WHEN SOMEONE IN GOD’S
CHURCH IS STRUGLING, IT IS
BECAUSE HE HAS NOT ASKED GOD
FOR HELP.
MATT. 7:7-8
• “ASK, AND IT SHALL BE GIVEN YOU;
SEEK, AND YOU SHALL FIND; KNOCK,
AND IT SHALL BE OPENED UNTO YOU;
FOR EVERYONE WHO ASKS WILL
RECEIVE, AND ANYONE WHO SEEKS
WILL FIND AND THE DOOR WILL BE
OPENED TO THOSE WHO KNOCK.”

5. OBEDIENCE BRINGS
POSITIVITY
1 Samuel 15:22
Samuel said, “Which does the Lord
prefer; OBEDIENCE or
SACRIFICES? It is better to OBEY
him than to sacrifice the best sheep
to him.”

 PEACE (PSALM 119:165)

“Great peace have they which love Your


law: and nothing shall offend them.”
 Vision (Prov. 29: 18)

“Where there is no vision, the people


perish; but he that keeps the law, happy
is he.”
 Favor (Prov. 3:1-4)

“My son, forget not my law, but let your


heart keep my commandments: for the length
of days, and long life, and peace, shall they
add to you. Let not mercy and truth forsake
you:
•bind them about your neck; write them
upon the table of your heart: so shall you
find favor and good understanding in the
sight of God and man.”
Answered Prayers (1 John 3:21-22)

“Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have


we confidence toward God. And whatsoever we
ask, we receive of Him, because we keep His
commandments, and do those things that are
pleasing in His sight.”
5. KEEP GOING
You are not alone in your
struggles.
•John 16:24
“Hitherto have you asked nothing in
my name; ask, and you shall receive,
that your joy may be full.”
•People become negative if they experience
problems, broken family, losing friends,
unable to do what they wanted to do,
cannot experience the “happiness” of this
world just to obey God.
Matt. 19:27-29
• Then Peter said, “we have left everything and
followed you. What will we have?”
• Jesus said to them, “you can be sure that
when the son of Man sits on his glorious
throne in the New age, then you twelve
followers of mine will also sits on the
thrones, to rule the twelve tribes of Israel.
• And everyone that has forsaken houses, or
brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or
wife, or children, or lands, for My name’s
sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall
inherit everlasting life.”
Psalm 37:23-24
•“The Lord guides people in the way they
should go and protects those who please
Him. If they fall, they will not stay
down, because the Lord will help them
up.”
6. SEE THE BIG PICTURE
Always see the bright side of life.
• FOCUS AWAY FROM SELF. WE ARE
TRAINED TO TEACH OTHERS GOD’S
WORDS. THE WORLD NEEDS PEOPLE
LIKE US WHO WILL SHARE GOD’S
LAWS AND PRINCIPLES IN EVERY
CIRCUMTANCES.
