PLACEMENT

DEFINITION:
The determination of the job to which an accepted candidate is to be
assigned and his assignment to that job.
It is a matching of what the supervisor has reason to think he can do with
the job requirements. It is a matching of what he improves( in strain,
working condition) and what he offers in the form of pay roll,
companionship with others, promotional possibilities etc.
SIGNIFICANCE OF PLACEMENT

• It improves employee morale.


• It helps in reducing employee turnover.
• It helps in reducing absenteeism
• It avoids misfit between the candidate and the job.
• It helps the candidate to work as per the predetermined
objective of the organization.
MAKE A CRISP RESUME

• Your Resume is a window to present yourself briefly.


• It should contain bold headlines highlighting your key
academic achievements and highlights of your extra curricular
activities.
RESEARCH ON INTERVIEWER AND
ORGANISATION

Candidates should make sample of research about the

interviewer and a company before appearing for a job

interview. It is actually worth.

• Nervousness
• Overconfident while sitting before the interviewers
• Chewing pencils
• Being aggressive

An optimum level of stress is needed and is natural but you

should learn to clear it off.

• Never show your real weakness. Show those weakness


which seems good to be harvested.

• Be very contextual about your weakness.

BE STUBBORN
Basics and concepts of your subjects should be very clear
in your mind. Still a learning attitude is always appreciable.

be confident and stick to your point, but don’t be stubborn.
