Planning :-
planning is the process of thinking
about the activities required to archive a
desired goal.
Planning
A primary managerial activaties that involves:
Definning the organizatons goals.
Establishing an overall strategy for archiving those goal
Developing plans for orgnisational work activities
Types of planning
Formal :
formal planning is often done at the last minit,and there
is littile or no sharing of goals and strategies with others
in the organisation.
formal planning is in the form of well-strucute process
involving different steps.
In large organisations they undertake planning in formal
way in which they create corporate planning cell placed
at sufficiently high level in the organisations.
Informal :
o Informall planning and responding to an
individuals need can take place daily in the
community sector by :
i. Asking someone how they want to spend
their day.
ii. Informally reviewing an axisting formal
planns.
iii. Asking a client how everything is.
o Informal planning may not always need to
be documented but it must still occure
within the boundaries of organisational
policies and procedures.
Organising :
The process by which managers established working
relationships among the employees to achieve goals.
o Organising is the function of management which
follows planning.
o It is a function in which the synchronization and
combination of human, physical and fianancial
resources take place.
o A manager performs organising function with the help
of following steps :
i. Identification of activities
ii. Departmentally organising the activities
iii. Classifyning the authorities
iv. Co-ordination between authority and responsibility
Staffing :
Staffing involves the process of filling the vacant
position of the right personnel at the right job, at right
time. Hence, everything will occure in a right manner.
