A news package is usually the longest type of storytelling found on


television newscasts. Usually, the news anchor will read an
introduction live, then the pre recorded story will be shown. A common
part of a news package is the appearance of a reporter talking into the
camera.

A package is a self-contained taped news report. Usually, the news

ANCHOR VOICE OVER

A voice-over is a narration done by a broadcast reporter, usually reading from a


script.
A stand up is when a television reporter appears in front of the camera to
narrate part of a story most often at the beginning to set up the story, or at the
very end.

A TV news anchor has to have many special characteristics in order to be


successful with viewers. There's charisma, credibility, and friendly not every
newscast is going to go perfectly. Any show or broadcast that is live always has
a chance for error. With all the possible things that could go wrong, there are 10
on air mistakes news anchors can make that will hurt their relationship with
viewers, cause the station's ratings to nosedive, and possibly cost.

start with something interesting which Can attract audience towards you,or
something relevant to that show then tell your name and designation or simply
tell that you are hosting this show or you can tell that today the people will

 The graphic typically will relate to the story the anchor is reading or, in
some cases, may simply be a generic image with the station's
branding, for example. Most OTS graphics are superimposed by a
computer, with the studio camera framing the talent off-center to allow
room for the graphic.

• Fast news story occurring suddenly, and often portending a series of


events or further developments in rapid succession
• it will bring you directly to the news without wasting any time
messing around with the user interface or news loading.
 This format is relaxed Compared to top 100 and top 50

 Approximately 30 minutes are allowed for a single news element

 Visuals are edited and voice over are attached.

 Appropriate slugs are superimposed in each news and news


clips.

 A signature montage is used.
