Case Study On HRM

Electronic Industries Ltd. opened a new plant producing electric motors and advertised for a Chief Engineer position. They received 12 applications including 5 Assistant Engineers already working for the company. The company interviewed and tested the candidates and selected Mr. Anil, the 4th most senior Assistant Engineer, for the Chief Engineer role. However, the 3 more senior Assistant Engineers contested this in court, arguing that the selection was invalid as Mr. Anil was not the most senior candidate.
