IDENTIFICATION OF ADDRESSABLE
ISSUES
A) Sales order at the starting of month (<10%)
This issue can be solved by having good ties
with customers & receiving bulk orders
including future demands in each month
beginning so that uptime is utilised
and downtime is sufficiently reduced in
manufacturing.
B) Sequence of the different product variant
While receiving the sales order from the
.
customer , the sales team should keep in mind
of the product variant and their processing
method . Accordingly they should prioritize the
sales order to maximize the uptime and also to
reduce the skewness of the products towards
the month-end.
Financial Department
Have flexible policies for pricing strategy so that they
won't be in the loss of potential opportunistic
customers who tend to vary their minds seeing the
price fluctuation of raw material prices.
Logistics Department
The company faces shortage in raw materials at the
end of some months due to the over-flowing
demand. A solution to this would be to have more
inventory so that at these unforeseen situations they
stay prepared before-hand. Their motive should be
that Surplus > Shortage as even if they have some
material left they can store it as stock for future
purposes.
