B.30 Rectifier/Regenerating Unit

The RRU units are power electronics devices


for supply the DC voltage to the inverters. Are
suitable for connecting several inverters to a
common DC bus. This permits the exchange of
energy between motoring and generating
drives, and thus saves energy. According to
the power request, different size and types are
available: C, E, H and K. Also the output
current can be increased by connecting up to
two parallel units. To reduce harmonics on the
main supply 12-pulse operation is possible.
