INTRODUCTION
LEADER
 A leader is a person who influences his followers to achieve a specified goal .
He is a person with a vision and inspires his followers in such a way that it
becomes their vision.

A leader is a person , who holds a dominant position in a given field and has
the ability to influence a group of people towards achievement of objectives.

Leadership is a skill and the person who possess this ability is known as a
LEADER.
MANAGER
A manager is a person who manages the organization such that he is responsible
for planning, organizing, directing , coordination and control.

There are various types of managers present in an organization such as top level
managers , functional managers , project managers etc.

A manager is someone who is an in charge of the organisation and has a group of


subordinates who reports to him or her about the day to day operations.
• The main difference between leaders and managers is that leaders have people
follow them while managers have people who work for them.

• Leadership is about getting people to understand and believe in your vision and to
work with you to achieve your goals while , managing is more about administering
and making sure the day to day things are happening as they should.
