PHOTOJOURNALISM
•What comes to your mind when you hear the word
photojournalism?

Two Words
1. Photo - picture
2. Journalism - story

Photojournalism is literally defined as a picture story


or a story picture.
Photojournalistic Question: What does the picture tell?

•It gives information about people and events as in news


story;
•It entertains as in feature story;

•It gives an opinion about issues as in editorial;

•It presents dynamic action as in sports story.


Photographic Composition:
