How to upgrade the system for Qbit7

Note:

1. Below presentation is an example for system upgrade.

2. The system interface will be different because of the differnt


software version. If the current interface has any difference with below
presentation. Don't be confused.

3. Never unplug the flash disk during the upgrade process, and avoid a
ny power failures. it will make system crash.

STEP1. Get the two upgrade files , the two files are zipped and named as
fpga and upgrade.

STEP2. Unzip the files, we recommed WinRAR software tool to unzip. You will
get two folders as below, upgrade and fpga, copy them to the root directory of
flash disk.

Possible causing for upgrade failure:

 The upgrade files could be damaged during download or unzip


procedure, it may cause the upgrade failure. You may try with diff
erent software tool to download or unzip.

 Regarding to the volume of flash disk , too small or too big volum
e is not easy for system to recognize. Sometimes you have to res
tart the main unit to make flash disk to be recoginzed.

STEP3. Confirm when you open the folder upgrade and fpga, there should be
sub files in the folder.

Note: Confirm there should be uncovered sub files in the 'upgrade' or 'fpga'
folder. Otherwise, SWupgrade and FWupgrade button in system interface will n
ot change bright for upgrade.

STEP4. Connect the flash disk with the USB port on side panel. The cross on
the lower right corner of the USB icon will disappear.

Note: Make sure the flash disk is a good one, FAT32 format. Please try
with different one if there has upgrade failure.

STEP5. Press key on the keyboard, get into System Settings
interface. Select System item. You will see upgrade and fpga items change to
bright.

STEP6.Click the SW upgrade item firstly and confirm YES , the system will
upgrade the software automatically.

Note: The software upgrade process will last about 6 minutes.

STEP7. Confirm OK after upgrade successed, then the machine will
turn off automatically.
Note:The
Note: whole upgrade is not finished after software upgrade. It has to
upgrade the FPGA to match with the software, if necessary.

STEP8. Manully boot the machine, and get into System Setting-->
System interface again, click FW upgrade to upgrade FPGA , the
system will upgrade automatically after you confirm YES.

STEP9. The system will turn off automatically after confirm OK.

STEP10. After the whole upgrade process is finished, please check if t
he current system information is the proper one.
