• Is a machine used to stitch fabric and
other materials together with thread.

There are two major parts of the sewing
machine:
Upper Part
Head, Arm and Bed
Lower Part
Band Wheel, Band Wheel Crank,
Pitman Rod, Belt Guide, Belt
Shifter, Dress Guard, Treadle, Legs.

The Upper Parts is composed of:
• 1. Head is the complete sewing machine without a
cabinet or stand.
