Listening Test
Part l: Photographs
Directions: For each question in this part, you
will hear four statements about a picture in your
test book. When you hear the statements, you
must select the one statement that best
describes that you see in the picture.
• Part ll: questions and Responses
• Directions: you will hear a question or
statement and three renponses spoken
in English. Select the best renponse to
the question or statement and mark the
letter (A), (B), or (C) on your answer
sheet.
• Part lll: Short Conversations
• Directions: You will hear some
conversations between two people.
You will be asked to answer three
questions about what the speakers say in
each conversation. Select the best
renponse to each question and mark
the letter (A), (B), (C), or (D) on your
answer sheet.
• Part lV: Short Talks
• Directions: you will hear some talks
given by a single speaker. You will be
asked to answer three questions about
what the speakers say in each talk.
Select the best response to each
question and mark the letter (A), (B),
(C), or (D) on your answer sheet.
Reading Test
• Part V: Incomplete Sentence
• Directions: A word or phrase is missing in each of the
sentences below. Four answer choices are given below
each sentence. Select the best answer to complete the
sentence. Then mark the letter (A), (B), (C), or (D) on your
answer sheet.
• Ex.: The new company gym is now open to all employees
and management. Everyone .....to make use of it.
(A) urged (B) is urged
(C) urge (D) are urging
• Part Vl: Text Completion
• Directions: read the texts that follow. A
word or phrase is missing in some of
the sentences. Four answer choices
are given below each of the sentences.
Select the answer to complete the text.
Then mark the letter (A), (B), (C), or (D)
on your answer sheet.
• Note: the question is parallel. Examples
question number 141,142,143 and
144 are connected with one text.
• Part Vll: Reading Comprehension
In the TOEIC test, there are passages on many
different topics, covering a variety of types:
advertisements, forms, faxes, e-mails, memos,
tables and charts, schedules, instructions, notices,
new articles, etc.
• The following tips help you handle various
reading questions in the TOEIC test.
