 A global computer network providing a variety of
information and communication facilities ,
consisting of interconnected networks using
standardized communication protocols.
 The company which provide internet are known as
ISP(internet service provider) .
 It is used for many purposes like : social site surfing
etc.
INTERNET SERVICE
PROVIDER
 An internet service provider is an organization
that provides services for accessing ,using , or
participating in the internet.
 Internet service provider may be organized in
various forms, such as commercial, community-
owned, non-profit or privately owned.
 Example of ISP in Nepal are: world link, subisu,
vianet etc.
SUBISU

Own company.
 It was established in 1999and
Provide internet through HFC network
Along with TV channels.
 The founder of subisu is Dristi Khanal.
 Its main headquarter is in baluwatar, kathmandu.
SERVICES OF SUBISU
o In total subisu provide only one type of internet
service

1. FTTH(fiber to home).
o And for the additional it provides
Digital television channel
Known as (Clear tv).
FTTH
 FTTH stands for fiber to home.
 In this FTTH service, they used the optical fiber
which is faster than the ordinary cable net.
 They have package of bandwidth speed of
20mbps, 30 mbps etc for the unlimited internet
service.
 They have 100mbs to more speed in volume
basis for the big company.
CLEAR TV
 Clear tv means the service in which company
provide channel through cable net.
 It uses same cable of FTTH internet but it is
connected to a box known as set up box.
 In this feature you can watch over 200+ channel
at your home without disturbance.
CABLE TV
 Cable tv were provided from the subisu.
 it was provided until 2074 BS but due to
digitization in nepal this service is no more
provided by subisu.
