The current COVID-19 pandemic is forcing on
us to adapt the “new normal” where we are obliged to practice social distancing and
other behavioral protocols set forth by the
CHED and IATF. Hence, we at the St. Nicolas College of Business and
Technology need to adapt to this "New
Normal” on how to deliver online education the best we can among our online
learning students. Indeed, we need collaborative
efforts and must have to join hand in hands to make this modality effective
since this platform is inaugural in nature.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
◦ 1.      Explain and define terminologies used in studying Fundamentals of Criminal Investigation;
◦ 2.      Discuss fully the fundamental principles that serve as foundations of crime detection and
investigation;
◦ 3.      Explain the legal sanctions and/or requirements that should be observed while
investigating criminal cases;
◦ 4.      Enumerate and discuss the elements, tools and phases of criminal investigation; and
◦ 5.      Apply the standard processes and techniques of identifying, tracing, locating,
apprehending and arresting a suspect including the systematic methods of collecting and
preserving evidence.
