Importance of Equivalents
In food preparation, it is important to know
equivalents particularly when halving or doubling
a recipe. Being able to convert tablespoons and
cups makes the process more efficient. For
instance if you know that:
2 T = 1/8 cup
4 T = ¼ cup
6 T = 3/8 cup
8 T = ½ cup
12 T = ¾ cup
