Organizing PTA
• Ang mga kasapi ng PTA ay mga magulang, guardian, homeroom
adviser, subject teacher at mga non-teaching personnel.
• Ang mga guardian ay ang sinumang inuturisa ng tunay na magulang,
mga kamag-anak na nangangalaga sa bata, sinumang nangangalaga sa
isang ulila at sinumang inuturisa ng batas.
• Tanging ang mga guardian na inuturisa ng batas ang maaaring maging
opisyal ng PTA.
• Ang pangalan ng paaralan ay kasama sa opisyal na pangalan ng PTA.

do and not do?
Interfere in the academic and administrative
management and operations of the school
Engaging in any partisan political activity
Operating a canteen, school supplies
Selling insurance, pre-need plans or similar
schemes
PTA Officers do not collect salaries, honoraria,
and other forms of compensation
Cannot disburse or charge fees (service fees or
percentage) against the amount collected for
school publication, SSG, Development fund,
club membership, and other contributions
PTA Officers cannot call upon students and
teachers for purpose of investigation or
disciplinary action
Cancellation of PTA Recognition
Criminal, civil, administrative charge against
any member or officer of the Board of the PTA
who is/are responsible for failure to submit the
annual financial statement or for failure to
account PTA funds.
