What does coaching
look like & sound like?

The Just Read, Florida! Office defines a reading coach as


follows:

“A reading coach is a professional development liaison within the


school to support, model, and continuously improve SBRR
[Scientifically Based Reading Research] instructional programs in
reading to assure reading improvement for ALL students.”

THE NEW K-12 WRITING SEQUENCE

Its important you can access the drive, as it will be used district wide, going forward.
So take a few minutes and pull up the sequence on the google drive.

READING ENDORSEMENT
Who wants to make $2500?

The MCSD is now offering FREE K-12 reading


endorsement classes through Edivation. Its limited to 30
people.

Class 1 starts October 1st.


Class 2 starts in January.
Class 3 and 4 will take place next year (Or you can take the
classes through NEFEC for $240. and you will be
reimbursed)
Class 5 is a practicum
