• Hacksaw slightly further than required.


• Layout Tools: Ruler, Square, Writing Utensil, Centre Punch, Hammer.
• Drilling Process: Teacher Led Demonstration, ¼” Drill Required.
• Shaping: Filing Process, remember to use your Vice!
• Personal Letter Punching: Letter Punches, Hammer.

• Complete 2 different tags!

Casting with Foam
• Collect Foam 4” x 4” x 1” • Using a Pencil, draw the shape of your

You may use either of the following methods:
• Electric Arc (Stick)
• Oxy-Acetylene Gas
• Metal Inert Gas (MIG)

Remember that welding temperatures vary between 300


through to 3000 and generate a concentrated amount of
light. It is paramount that no skin is exposed during
welding and appropriate face guards are worn.

Don’t forget to chamfer!
