Paragraph
Favorite child of Zeus, Athena was born out of his head. The reason for that is because Athena’s mother, Metis
was swallowed by Zeus. Zeus swallowed Metis because he was afraid that the child Metis was pregnant with
was going to be a strong man who will overthrow Zeus. One of Zeus’s kids, Hephaestus (or Prometheus),
opened Zeus’s head with an ax and out came Athena. Fierce and ruthless, Athena springs out as a battle goddess
and becomes the protector of civilized life, agriculture, and handicrafts. Additionally, being the war goddess, yet
the embodiment of purity, she was a goddess of severe beauty, different than Aphrodite.
