Brewer's Method

This document presents an example of using Brewer's Method to estimate the total number of patients from hospital population data. It shows data for 3 hospitals with their number of beds and patients. It then shows the calculations to assign random numbers to each hospital based on their proportion of beds. A random number is drawn to select the first hospital, then another to select the second, estimating the total patients as the sum of the two hospitals' actual patients. The example estimates the total as 68 patients.
