Real or Reality texts are true. These are facts


that have been proven to be true to everyone.
They can happen in real life.
EXAMPLES OF REALITIES:

Learned facts, real places, animals acting like


animals

1. Mt. Pinatubo erupted in June 1991

2. Mt. Mayon is considered to be an active volcano.

3. Jose P. Rizal is a Filipino hero.


MADE UP

Made-Up/Fantasies or make-believe texts are not true.


These are just products of our imagination and will
never happen in real life.
Example: animals acting like people, monsters, aliens
etc.

Examples of made up/ fantasies:

1.The sun and moon are brothers and sisters.

2. The king lion talks with all the animals in his kingdom.

3.The nasty wolf knocked on the house of the mother goat .
