Contains two or more words that join together to make a single noun;
Compound It can be written as: closed form such as softball and toothpaste, hyphenated form such as six-pack and son-in-
law, or open form such as post office and upper class.

DIRECTION: Copy the table or insert objects and texts in the picture. Tick the
column/s according to the type/s of each listed noun in the first column. Then,
complete the other columns with corresponding nouns related to the given noun. You
may skip a column whenever inapplicable. Use the proper noun for the singular
possessive type, and the common noun for the plural possessive. If proper noun
column is inapplicable, use the given noun for both singular and plural possessive. Do
as shown below.

*A compound word which ends in –ful normally
ends with –s after –ful, but there is an alternative
form with the –s following the base noun.

equal parts are joined together, e.g. trousers, binoculars,
