Summer Training Etp: LPU - Object Oriented Programming Using Java - Internship

This document provides a summary of Patel Tejaskumar Vijaykumar's summer training in Object Oriented Programming using Java. The training covered object-oriented design principles and techniques for creating modular, flexible and reusable software. Patel chose this training because Java is a popular, beginner-friendly language used for many applications and platforms. Completing the training provided knowledge of object-oriented design and programming methods that will help Patel in developing software applications. The training references included online courses from e-box.co.in, YouTube tutorials, and articles from geeksforgeeks.org.

SUMMER TRAINING ETP

LPU - Object Oriented Programming using Java - Internship

Online ETP presentation

6th Oct, 2020

Name: - Patel Tejaskumar Vijaykumar

Registration No.: - 11802236
Course: - CSE 343
Certificate:
Introduction:

■ Object-oriented design centers on finding an appropriate set of classes and

defining their contents and behavior. It involves determining the proper use set
of classes and then filling in the details of their implementation. Object-oriented
design is fundamentally a three-step process: identifying the classes,
characterizing them, and then defining the associated actions. In this
internship,  I discovered how to create modular, flexible and reusable software,
by applying object oriented design principles and guidelines.  On completion of
this internship, I have knowledge of methods and techniques in Object Oriented
Design and Programming.
Why I choose this training ?

■ Java is one of the most popular languages in the world. It is used by some 9
million developers and it runs on around 7 billion devices worldwide according
to Oracle blogs. Because of the high demand for Java, Java developers are also
quite sought after and they hold some of the most high-paying jobs in the industry.
■ While Java shares some functionalities with C and C++, it has evolved into a much
more beginner-friendly language. For example, Java handles many of the tedious,
complex tasks such as memory management and pointers, making it easier to
write and run for new programmers.
■ Nowadays most of the dynamic applications are made by using java and android is
also running on the java. So, to procced in developing software one should be well
known by this programming language.
Future Scope:

■ India’s $150 billion IT services outsourcing industry is adapting to the changes

that are fast setting in because of automation and higher adoption of digital
technologies.
■ There is one clear trend from the multiple surveys on the most widely used
programming language worldwide: Java and JavaScript still rule the coding
world.
■ Government projects like Digital India and Demonetization surely will give rise to
demand for Java Programmers in every company going digital.
■ The opportunities available for a Java Programmer are immense, and their
technical knowledge is very valuable.
Importance and applicability:

■ Java is one of the most popular programming languages used to create Web
applications and platforms. It was designed for flexibility, allowing developers to
write code that would run on any machine, regardless of architecture or
platform.
■ Java is used to build applications and platforms for a number of devices,
including computers, laptops, gaming consoles, Blu-ray players, car navigation
systems, medical monitoring devices, parking meters, lottery terminals and
smartphones. It is also a key language for networking, particularly for data
centers that store and transfer Web-based data.
