Elements and Principle of Design

This document outlines the key elements and principles of design, including lines, color, texture, shapes, text, space, size, and value as elements, and balance, movement, contrast, emphasis, pattern, and unity as principles. Lines can be vertical, horizontal, or diagonal and suggest different meanings. Color is very influential and can communicate emotion. Texture can be implied or actual. Shapes include geometric, natural, and abstract forms. Text and space must also be considered in design. Size and value create emphasis and contrast.
