Existing structures like a chimney and buildings were retained for their historic value. Sustainable features include biophilic loggias, a collective heating system, solar panels, and rainwater harvesting. The project aims to reuse the uncontaminated site for residential use in an environmentally friendly manner.

THE ARCHITECT WANTED TO DO THE SUSTAINABLE ARCHITECTURE SO HE
RETAINED THE OLD OBJECTS AND BUILDINGS IN THE SITE AND ALSO ADDED
FEW MORE NEW BUILDINGS FOR RESIDENCE WITH AMENITIES.
THE UNCONTAMINATED SITE IS NOW USED AS AN USER FRIENDLY
ENVIRONMENT
INFERENCE

• PROS:
1. THE BIOCLIMATIC LOGGIAS HAS A GOOD FUNCTIONAL PURPOSE AND ALSO
AESTHETIC PURPOSE.
2.IT IS A COST EFFICIENT PROJECT WITH LOW MAINTENANCE.
3.IT HAS A GOOD PEDESTRIAN CIRCULATION AND THE SOCIAL SPACES,COURTYARD,3D
PLAY AREAR WILL BE SO MUCH HELPFUL IN THE TIMES OF PANDEMIC.
4. THE GLASS INSTALLATION IN THE FAÇADE HAS BEEN WELL ALIGNED WITH THE
STREET.
5.IT ALSO HAS A GREEN ROOF WITH A SOLAR PANEL AND ALSO RAINWATER
HARVESTING SYSTEM.

CONS:
1.IT HAS A POOR DRIVEWAY
2.THERE IS NO RAMP IN THE ENTRANCE
3.THE ENTRANCE DOOR IS RECESSED SO THE NEW COMERS WILL FIND IT DIFFICULT TO ENTER
INTO THE BUILDING.
4.TO RETAIN THE LOOK THEY HAVE USED INDUSTRIAL MATERIALS LIKE SCARP METAL AND
ALUMINIUM STAIRCASE WHICH MAKES IT LOOK LIKE AN INDUSTRY RATHER THAN A RESIDENCE.
5.IT HAS ONLY 3 LIFTS FOR 4 BLOCKS
6.IT HAS ONLY ONE ENTRY AND THE SAME IS USED AS EXIT SO DURING THE TIME OF FIRE
EMERGENCY IT WOULD BE REALLY DIFFICULT
7.CHEAP MATERIALS SUCH AS HEMP FIBRE,EXPANDED CORK HAVE BEEN USED.
8.THE USE OF GLASS FOR CONSTRUCTION LOSES THE PRIVACY.
