 Learning Purpose
After learning this unit about “Announcement text”, the students are able to:
● 1. Menentukan fungsi sosia, struktur teks dan unsur kebahasaan teks khusus dalam bentuk
pemberitahuan (announcement) dengan literasi melalui slide PowerPoint. (integrasi ICT, literasi,
TPACK).
● 2. Menganalisis fungsi social, struktur teks dan unsur kebahasaan teks khusus dalam bentuk
pemberitahuan (announcement) tentang informasi yang dipaparkan dalam teks berdasarkan
pengamatan yang bersumber dari guru maupun internet. (HOTS, integrasi ICT, literasi digital,
TPACK).
● 3. Merespon makna secara kontekstual terkait fungsi sosial, struktur teks, dan unsur
kebahasaan teks khusus dalam bentuk pemberitahuan (announcement) secara berkelompok.
(HOTS, integrasi ICT)
● 4. Menyusun teks khusus dalam bentuk pemberitahuan (announcement), lisan dan tulis,
pendek dan sederhana, dengan memperhatikan fungsi sosial, struktur teks, dan unsur
kebahasaan, secara benar dan sesuai konteks dengan tepat. (HOTS-TPACK).

Good morning, students! Welcome to English class! I hope you're all as happy about Spring semester
starting as I am! Hopefully, right? I would like to announce about our assignment. This week, we'll be
taking it pretty easy as you acquaint yourself. Do prepare yourself.
So, what should you do this week? Well, let's take a look...
·You should introduce yourself with the layout and design via photo editing.
·Now is the time to explore and practice how you'll be turning in assignments, and uploading video
recordings.
·You should check your textbook (e-book or hard copy) for reference. I do link to the e-book in Google
Classroom, but this is not required.
·Complete the assignment by Sunday. Keep in mind, you cannot move on to the other modules/ e-book
until you have completed the task, so make this a priority.
