IELTS Week 1 Thursday

This document provides an overview of IELTS Speaking Part 1. It discusses the format, topics covered, preparation tips, and includes an example exam dialogue. The key points are: - Speaking Part 1 is a short introductory conversation lasting 4-5 minutes where examiners ask questions about everyday topics like home, family, work, hobbies to test a candidate's ability to communicate comfortably on familiar subjects. - Candidates should aim to give short, 1-2 sentence answers providing relevant details without long, unnecessary stories. Memorizing answers will sound unnatural. - An example exam dialogue covers topics of hometown, free time, and photography. The candidate provides concise yet sufficient responses
