HISTORY OF PROJECT

• In existing system, we have to go to the destination where the voting procedure is going on
and then only we can vote for him or her.
• It does not provide the way in which they can get the details about the nominees as well.
• Disadvantages of existing system :
– Time consuming
– Too much paper work
– Errors can occur during counting
– Security of data
SCOPE

In project, the following technologies will be used:


• A PC(desktop/laptop)
• Language: PHP
• Database design: MySQL
• Interface: HTML
• Testing: WAMP Server
AIM & OBJECTIVE

The main concept of this project is to build a website, which should be able to allow students to
caste their vote online.

 Create the time limit to vote


 validate the voters
 to automate vote computation
 students can vote regardless of their location
 Result will be out after 2 Hrs of election
MODULES

1. Voter : In this module, user who is going to give his or her vote have to register in order to
get access to the voting system and into the modules which contains details about the
candidates.
2. Candidate : In this module, students can stand up for election. Through this candidate can
also provide vision to voters to vote them and voters can see the profile of candidate.
3. Voting : In this module, all the process related to voting and votes are given in this module.
Voters can access to this module via their ID only.
4. Admin : Admin checks the data and validate the voter. Admin also gives the result once the
Voting is conducted. Admin is authorized to check the result.
